Staying at this hotel was an incredible experience! I felt like I was in a secluded paradise, surrounded by nature and the soothing sound of rushing water from the nearby river. The location in the middle of the woods created a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere that was perfect for a getaway. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with friendly and polite staff members who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The room amenities were excellent, with a cozy sitting area, free wi-fi, and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The on-site dining options were fantastic, with delicious traditional Japanese cuisine that showcased the local ingredients. And of course, the hot spring bath facilities were a true highlight, offering a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Nestled in a secluded natural setting, this hidden gem is a perfect escape from the bustle of the city. With picturesque onsen baths, comfortable and spotless rooms that boast traditional decor details, and exceptional kaiseki-style meals that use locally-sourced ingredients and provide a detailed explanation of each dish, this place is a slice of heaven. Guests can enjoy the charming and friendly service from the staff who speak English and are always eager to help. The property provides guests with an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate amid the serene surroundings.
While the hotel is pretty clean, some rooms may not be serviced daily, and there may be a few bugs around during some seasons.

The breakfast and dinner were delicious and well presented, with a variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel provided easy access to popular tourist sites, making it a great base for exploring the city. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Another plus was the helpful staff who were always willing to offer suggestions and provided excellent service.
The room was cramped, outdated, and lacked basic amenities. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy.

The scenic location was one of the best parts of my stay. It was a bit tricky getting there, but it was worth it for the beautiful mountain views. The hospitality was fantastic and the staff was incredibly attentive. They made sure all of our needs were met and even helped with our luggage. The traditional food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which was surprisingly fast.
The transportation to and from the hotel was a bit difficult as it required multiple transfers and was not very accessible for those with larger luggage. some of the smaller rooms were a bit cramped, but this was not a major issue as there were plenty of other spaces to relax in.

We had an unforgettable stay at this traditional Japanese onsen/ryokan nestled in the mountains. The stunning snowy landscape added to the charm, and the warm hospitality of the staff made our experience truly exceptional. The three different onsens provided unique atmospheres, and the outdoor onsen was a must-try. The rooms were spacious and modern, despite the ryokan's age. The food was fresh and delicious, although the traditional Japanese pillows were not to our liking. we would definitely recommend this ryokan and hope to visit again.
